I seem to be posting a lot about Viggo these days. :D

More pictures, some paintings, some photographs. All works are taken from his publications, namely Recent Forgeries (1998, second edition), Signlanguage (2002, Vol. VIII, no. 78), Coincidence of Memory (2002, Vol. I, no.1) and 45301 (2003, Vol.II, no. 3).

All books are available from Perceval Press.

School, 1996.

Spring Wellington, 2000

Working, Brooklyn, 1998 and Journal Entry, 1998. Two of my favorites. Scanned as they are presented in Signlanguage.

Just two I'm afraid. I had a hard time choosing.

Received Pronunciation, 2001

Self-Portrait, April, 1999 - 2002.

Mmm, I can send you movies, if you're interested. I send a lot of movies/ episodes to [livejournal.com profile] valentine1971 because she can't really download anything. Like I said before, no biggie. I love sending things to lovely people. :D

And, um, I have never seen American Pie either. I have a rather eclectic taste when it comes to movies. And I didn't like Austin Powers. My hubby made me watch it! He sometimes grumbles at me for not watching every blockbuster there is. *sighs* And yes, they are very popular here. :)

So, do you do photography? I mean, you mentioned wanting to buy a camera...

I think I read about the cloak thing... I don't think I looked closely enough to recognize it. But that's what I love in collages... the patchwork of things that are important for the artist. I may need to take another look at his collages...

Aww, you're the nicest ever. [livejournal.com profile] quettar_ucareo just sent me a bunch of Elijah movies, and I'm still asquee with joy.

I'm glad that it's not just me who's never seen those movies. I sort of want to, just to see what the fuss is about. But I kinda figured that they were popular everywhere by now, you know?

I do photography the same way that I do most things - Somewhat half-assed, very amature-ish, and probably only really interesting to me. But it pleases me, so whatever.

Hey, do whatever pleases you! And the pictures you posted are beautiful. Sometimes the love of the artist for his work shines through and hey, that's also what I want to see.

And my offer stands. If you want to see a movie, just ask me if I have it. I could send it along with that print you wanted... (I still can hardly believe that you want a print of one of my pictures, eeep, that's the highest compliment ever!)

As for doing things half-assed: I believe that's only because of a lack of time. You seem so passionate about things. Def. lack of time!

*hugs*

Aww, thanks, hon. I do pretty much whatever pleases me, to be honest. And sometimes that's painting and sticking my fingers in oil paints and smearing, and sometimes it's photography and it's almost always computer-stuff of some kind, but it makes me happy, and really, that's as much as I have a right to expect.

You're the nicest ever, with the movies. I can't think of anything offhand that I'm desperate for, but I'll have to doublecheck my longlong list of "movies that I'm desperate for and will buy as soon as I win the lottery". Actually, I shouldn't check that, because then I will be sad that I've not yet won the lottery. Stupid everything.

*licks* This may be the nicest thing that anyone's ever said about me.

God, I love to paint with my fingers. I don't need brushes! Just some paint, any kind really, and a nice big sheet of paper. A rainy day would be nice too, those are my favorites to paint.

I'm planning to win the lottery too. No luck yet. But dreams are nice anyway so I still make plans. I want things like: a house with a garden. A library. A cat, or rather three. Books, more books, and a place to write.

*licks back* Nah, you're very passionate, I can tell. So, not nice, but the truth. Or maybe the truth and nice?

Oh, man. I'm so just like that with paint. I use brushes for some things, but mostly I end up using my fingers and palms and smooshing it around.

I like your idea of a house and the library and garden and cats and books and writingspace. I have a plan something similar to that, actually. Of course, no luck with the winning yet, so . . .

Me neither. Bah. Stupid lottery. Well, I love this flat even if it's tiny. It's a good home anyway. I just want a bigger desk :D I'm sharing mine with my hubby.

I love the effect you get when you smear the paint with your fingers. Some paintings have my fingerprint in them, which amuses me. Now that we talk about it, I want to paint again. I did a tiny card in December, but haven't really painted since.

Hee. I used to have the best desk ever in the world - It was one of the ones that went in a corner, and it was HUGE, and I loved it so much. Sadly, when I moved, I couldn't afford to have the desk moved with me, so it is no more.

I know what you mean about the paint. I don't do it often, because I'm not much good, but every now and again, you know?
