Basically it's a programme called The Bill with an openly gay character who falls in love with another police officer (it's set in a police station). They kiss then the other guy goes into denial and basically blows off Craig (the gay one). Then Luke (the in denial one) gets engaged and on his stag night sleeps with Craig but still goes through with the wedding.
Craig all heartbroken and decides to leave but before he can he's beaten up and Luke all but says that he loves him but Craig still leaves as Luke's wife is pregnant.
It really rather sad really but if you want more info (you know you do!) then I can point you in the direction of some good info websites :)
