Oh my God, there just was an accident in my street. Thankfully noone was hurt, but I don't think I ever ran that fast. I just grabbed my mobile and my down jacket and ran out in pj's and slippers. I saw the totalled car from my window and prayed noone was inside. The moment I was outside I saw the other people and heard that somebody had called the police already. Oh my, what a shock. I'm all headachey now. Turned out that the totalled car belonged to a sweet neighbour of mine, so I took two pictures for her. I hugged her and she cried a little, mostly from the shock and the relief. It looked real bad, and it sounded terrible. God, I'm still shaking. My body needs to catch up with the knowledge that noone was hurt.

A van lost control on the slippery streets and went smack into the rear of a parked car. The small white car spun around and went into the wall of a house. It's on its side now.

Thank God, no one was in that car.

Thank you. It was all very scary indeed, especially the moment before I realised that no one was hurt. O.o

Thanks. <3

Urgh, how scary! Good to hear no one got hurt. Sounds like that van driver was going quite fast though if there was enough impact to make the parked car spin, go into a wall, and then turn on the side!

*sends you to bed with a cup of hot chocolate*

When I got down the driver of the car went: I lost control, I was going too fast, I lost control.

It was all very scary, and I'm only now losing some of that energy. I emailed you back, so that helped. O.o

You should see the car. It's all... scrunched up, like an accordion.

*hugs*

And kudos to you for reacting so quickly and going out there immediately. Not everybody would have done the same. *hugs more*

I might have been on autopilot. Hee! I figured that the least I could do was call an ambulance if needed.

*hugs back* Thank you, hon. <3 The hugs are very much appreciated after the fright!

wow
I know that your street is very difficult
to drive on due to the tramway rails.
I once had nearly lost control on it but thank good I was
rather slow and could catch the car before ramming into a parking one.

but praise to you that you reacted so fast and went down to help
*snuggles*

I think it was the wet tracks that got him. O.o Still, I remember watching the rain, and it had been raining hard and still the van's driver did not slow down.

Both cars got towed away, though the van could still drive. O.o

My slippers were still wet this morning O.o Well, okay, damp. :)
