gacked from Moonie:

Give me 1000 comments in this entry. Or whatever, really. YOU, in particular, don't have to supply the whole 1000, but a tiny contribution would be nice. Then let me know if you post this in your journal and I'll return the favor.

Any kind of spammage goes. Sing me a song, rec me a story, pic spam me. Tell me something about your life, something you wanna do. Anything goes. I don't expect to get anywhere near that 1.000 but yeah, I'll damn sure give it a try!

Well, nobody really wants to hear me sing. I make small children cry when I try to do that.
Fics that I like tend to be so eclectic that I couldn't even explain why *I* like them when I rec them, so that's out.
I tried to find a pic to spam, only to realize that every pic I have has been seen by every fan a million times.
How boring of me.
So, since I don't have anything to offer on any interesting or droolworthy fronts, I will offer this piece of advice:
Never substitute cream cheese for milk when making instant mashed potatoes.

Oooh, come on! Rec me something! Maybe I'll like it too!

And that's a good advice. Really.

No, no, trust me on this one, I'm such a scatterbrain that I can't remember half of what I read anyhow, so reccing something is just ASKING for trouble. This one time, I made it all the way to the end of a fic and was like "meh, that was pretty mediocre, I wonder who wrote it." Scrolled back up to check the author name, and found my own. It was quite traumatizing, really.
It doesn't help that I have the attention span of a gnat. As in "Wow, that was such a great fic, I should give feedba.... Ooooh, look, shiny!"

And that's a good advice. Really

Yes, it is. I got quite sick off of that one. Wish that someone had informed me of it before I decided to get creative. Though, whatever form of crack I was on, to make me think that cream cheese and milk were "close enough", is still up for debate.

Well, I think cream cheese and milk are close enough! Valuable advice.

And heeeeeee! I never ever mistook one of my fics for somebody else's! <3

I'm grinning here. Best. Story. Ever!

The fic thing has happened to me twice now actually, in different fandoms.
There are reasons I write very seldomly now ;)

I've decided that it's not my fault however. You see, what really happened was that some alien life form of doom took over my motor functions while I was sleeping, it forced me to get out of bed, write random fic with somewhat shoddy characterization in fandoms I don't even keep up on anymore, post it to archives that are no longer maintained, and then sat back and waited for the fun to begin. Yeah, thats it.
I blame my snoring on the alien too. I don't snore, it's the alien, it makes me snore. *nods*

HEE! The alien story now is officially the second best story ever. Because I still *heart* the first one.

And alien *do* snore. It's a fact.

Will you testify when they try to lock me in the padded cell? ;)

Of course I will! What? I'm a testified alien expert!

I wonder who will testify for me when they lock me away too O.o

That's okay, when we both lose, we can share a room and blame the aliens for everything together.
Then we can lobby for more internet access in mental institutions. I mean really, how could people be expected to get sane without LJ? ;)

Exactly! LJ does support the spreading of insanity sanity. So, padded walls, internet access.

Hey, that doesn't sound too bad!
