Okay.

Apparently newLeaf doesn't want to publish my poetry after all. Instead they want an old short story of mine. Although I'm still mightily happy to be published I feel a bit sad. I really like the poems I wrote during my stay in Scotland. I'd love to see them in print.
Thing is, I don't particularly like the story that's going into newLeaf 16. I don't like the protagonist (I know I wrote her.. .I just have an uneasy feeling around her, that's all...) and I think the ending's very weak. I always considered it a work-in-progress.

*sighs*

This is just me being uneasy about a story I wrote. That's going to be published. *runs*

I know I should feel proud.

Now that´s a shame, I really liked your scottish poems! Particularly "Revealed" and "Untitled II" (I never give myself away to German tourists abroad either...). However I´m sure your story is much better than you are making it sound!!!

In answer to your offer from some entries ago, I´d love a copy of newLeaf, preferably one with something by you in it :-) I don´t know if you could bring one to C4, otherwise I can mail you my home adress. I´ll pay for the mag and postage of course.

I can bring one copy of newLeaf with me, of course. It's a small magazine, and I'm counting on meeting you anyway :) I only have the copy with "The Princess and the Rogue" in it though. The next one will come out on Nov 20. If you're interested, I can send you a copy of that too. Just email me your adress :)

I think I will post the story that's going into newLeaf in my LJ. So you can read it :) But be warned: it is way different than the last one. Then you can judge youself :)
