I liked Glasgow a lot, it is very much like my hometown. I can easily imagine me living there and really liking it. As for Edinburgh... I tried not to spend too much time in the city itself, but visited the lovely zoo and Holyrood Park. I loved climbing Arthur's Seat, which is an extinct vulcano (or whatever's left of said vulcano). Edinburgh is beautiful but crazy to be in. It's too crowded for me.

But, go, see it. Both cities are very tempting.

Whee, another German fangirl! What are you doing in Sweden? Are you really living there? As in living and working and not going anywhere anytime soon?

I think I remember dutch_eowyn telling me that you will be at the C4 too. Is that right?

Yes, living and working in Sweden since almost 4 years now. Got here for a job and fell in love with Stockholm :-)

Well I will have to make another trip to Glasgow! Last one was a very short 2-day trip with the main purpose of seeing Eminem...

And yes, I´m coming to C4, will be sharing a room with dutch_eowyn. Are you coming too???

Yes, I am! Am very excited! I wish I'd stay at the same hotel as you folks, but I'll be at the Novotel.

Mmm, Sweden. I always wanted to go and see Stockholm. As for Glasgow, it may not suit everyone, but I love love love this city. Maybe because it immediately felt like home. *shrugs* I stayed at a very small, very nice bed and breakfast. It was situated in the West End, close to the Uni. Mmm. And Glasgow has a great Japanese restaurant! You had to carry me out there kicking and screaming. Mmm, Ramen.

*likes the idea of going to Glasgow for a concert*

dutch_eowyn thought you might be interested in a ticket for the FOTR screening on saturday at C4? Because I have a spare...if you want it let me know before I announce it publicly...

PS I love Japanese food too. Spend Friday doing a conference at a "yasuragi" place (bath and food and tranquility...fantastic)

That´s settled then, the ticket is yours. I haven´t paid for it myself yet because lilagrubb who got it for me said she could wait till we all meet at C4. She gets the ticket send home to her so all we have to do is to work out a place and time for handing things over during the saturday.
