Here's the second batch. If you want to put them on your own server, please tell me where they go, and a credit would be nice.

Ooops. See? I told you I needed to remind myself! Jesus.

That's what happens when you suffer from short attention span and are watching the DVD Special at the same time.

There, fixed it.

Thanks.

Of course! I'd love to see my pics there. I also will have several scans in a few days. (Need to borrow a scanner first.)

Do you want the bigger ones, or are you happy with those in my LJ?

Send the big ones along if they're easily available!

Thanks so much. Wheee! I'm glad you folks enjoyed the pics so much! And yes, I just described Billy's part... I couldn't be bothered with unraveling the whole play. As I said before, it is complicated. Not when you watch it, but when you try to explain what happened.

:)

Got directed here through hjartad's LJ. DOOD! Why did I NOT THINK of doing this with my digi cam!! I can look at these and even remember what lines were being said. Ab-fab!!

Thanks for the *visual* memories, kohaku!! (And is that 'kohaku' as in the Japanese New Year's musicial artist competition?!? I miss those. -_-)

It was a great play, wasn't it? *sighs* I really wish I could remember more lines. It was brilliant. I'm so glad they work for you as "visual memories" (which really is what they are, cute phrase).
Sharing those is really my pleasure, it's so good to see/ hear/ read about people squee-ing over the play and Billy.

It's Kohaku as in Japanese for "amber", my favorite semi-precious "stone" (if you can call amber a stone...). I didn't know about a competition. Care to explain? Just curious. :) (It's always interesting to see what people associate with my name.)

1) The was great! I was lucky in that I got to see it at both the Tron and the Royal Lyceum. Very glad I saw it twice, would have even went for a third if I had had the time. :) So that helps me with remembering some of the lines.

2) The *other* thing that helps me with the lines..I purchased a copy of the play's script at the Royal Lyceum performance. I love reading it and replaying the play in my mind.

3) Acutally, the competition is "Kouhaku" with the longer "o" sound meaning "red-white". Every New Year's Eve into Day, NHK has a musical competition where popular artist as well as older singers are split into a female team and male team and each "fight it out" for their color to win. V. amusing.

You know, it's amazing how quickly they put this play together. I spoke with the gentleman who played 'Pious' after one performance he said that they had 4 weeks of rehearsals leading up to the production dates. I was impressed by a lot of the members of the cast, however, I still think there were some 'weaker links' but that is all up to interpretation. :)

You. have. the. script. O.o

Oi. Why didn't I think of asking at the theatre? Jesus. Do you know by any change if I can order it? I enjoyed it so much, I really want to read it.

Why. didn't. I. think. of. buying. the. script? Well, probably because I didn't know it was for sale.

They really did an amazing job setting this all up in 4 weeks. I once played in the university drama group and I know how much work it is. Brilliant, brilliant play.

I wonder if you can. I know now that I'd love a copy of Greig's 'The Speculator' and some other play scripts of his *after* I attended a lecture on his plays presented for free at the Royal Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh by Mark Fisher. (He writes reviews of plays and in fact interviewd Billy for the Festival List magazine article that was on sale during the week of the performance at the Lyceum.)

Well. *I* wish I had taken photos, so we are mildly even. -_- I only knew about the scripts being sold because I had saw it in small print on the EIF website for the play before I even left the US for Scotland, so I had it in my mind to purchase one for about a week! It was 8.99 pounds.
