Apr. 4th, 2002 08:05 pmOh dear, I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. Let me put it this way: my boyfriend was playing a new role-playing game. Jeez, boys and their toys! I tell you.
Well, first the update of my recent discoveries here in Luneburg ;) We didn't go up the water tower after all, but visited the Salt Museum, which was really interesting! I'm a little bit sad about the water tower though.
The Salt Museum was fun. You could see different kinds of salt crystals there, learn how salt is produced for daily use and learn about different kinds of salt. Not all salt is used as spice, but for industrial purposes. It was used as bleach, or to produce e.g. soap.
The average amount of salt in a human male (70 kg) is 210 g. :) Fascinating, huh?
There were different stations about how salt is made. It was amazing.
AND I got a little bag of Luneburger salt to take home ;) Well, you have to buy it, but my boyfriend got it for me. :) I'm a lucky girl sometimes.
Today we visited the Kalkberg. It was beautiful. The Kalkberg is a National Site, and the natures raw and lovely there. It was warm today, so we had some chocolates up there.
The boys wanna watch a movie right now, so I have to run.
More later!
