I'm rediscovering old favorites.

Reto Burrell - Hey You The opening track of his album Shaking Off Monkeys. I picked it for the cover because sometimes I'm shallow like that. But, hey, there is a monkey on the cover. The song is nice. I played it a lot in 2002.

Hey you/ Did you ever count the stars at night?/ Hey you/ keep it up until the morning light/ Hey you/ Why try to walk in someone else's shoes?/ Hey you/ dig your own cause they're made for you/ Well sometimes you get burned/ Another lesson you have learned/ Try to keep yourself on track/ Shake that monkey off your back

Grenzenfrei - I don't know Local band, school band to top it off, but I bought their 3 track CD nevertheless. They are fantastic live, plus they played on some of the poetry readings I attended. Fond memories.

Paul Westerberg - It's a Wonderful Lie Listening to his album "Suicaine Gratification" brings back a lot of memories and emotions. This song grabbed me right away, though it was Born for Me that made it unto every mix I made in from 1999 to 2001. It's the loveliest heartache ever put to music.

John Lennon - 9 Dream This song does a million things for me. It's one of those songs. You know.
