kohakuI believe in family. I believe that family is one's choosen spot in live where your loyalty should lie. My concept of family broadens a bit, allowing close friends in, siblings in heart not in blood.
I don't remember when this became important for me, or any special occasion where this wish of harmony and loyalty manifested itself.
I also believe in honesty. It's important to be honest to the people you love and care for. Honesty and gentleness are important concepts in my life, as in many other maybe too.
Being in love, being in a relationship should show these qualities. Being in love means to care. To honestly care, no matter what. To walk that extra mile, to follow the road where ever it may lead.
I am old fashioned I know.

Thoughtful Mood
What for a thoughtful mood for such a lovely little kitten.
But I have to confess that we again have the same feelings about relationship and family.
I think that I can count myself as one of your closest Friends and I'm overwhelmed with joy that I'm part of your "family"!
Friends are very important to the living in the society. But real close friends are essential for your private live. Those can be happy where the partner is there best friend. But most of the times I have the feeling that this is not the case.
Honesty is the center of a good relationship. No matter if it is honesty to your boy/girl friend or Friends. I'm very glad that we have a honest friendship. I have the feeling I can talk with you about just anything without the feeling of beeing misunderstood.
You're right when you talk about that those points are very important to relationships and they are worth the extra mile. But you have to see that not only one side in the relationship is working the extra mile. It then can easily happen that you walk and walk and at the end you're devitalised because you can't gain power from such a relation.
And you're not old fashioned. You're a pure romantic an I love you for being it.
I hope my friendship is as important for you as it is for me.
I can't imagine my life without you and your gentleness.
