Oh yeah, I bought the Vogue because I really liked the spread they had; maybe even because of those elements ;) And for some strange reason I like the pictures with the Horse best. Teehee.
I remember my surprised reaction when I first noticed the amount of slashable goodness in manga and anime. Even if the story doesn't center around a m/m relationship, there were hints and subplots everywhere! 98% of all such stories were written by women for women, and talking about pictures of Jake (or actors in general) reminded me of that. Even though the pictures don't seem to have women as they're target group, they do appeal to a lot of women I know. Maybe it's just the slasher community though. I know I'm just waiting for an excuse to slash Jake whenever possible (even though I hardly write anything down these days...).
But, um, yeah. I like the idea of Jake as a cowboy, but combined with gay porn elements, he leaves me breathless.
