A detour can turn out to be a shortcut. (I love how hobbity that sounds!) Sometimes it depends on how you look at it.
Writing about myself in the third person freaks me out.
Being afraid really isn't worth the fuss. There are better things to do than being afraid that something *might* go wrong. (Like eating chestnuts, yum)
The bathroom door's hard. (Ouch, fuckity ouchy)
An insider's an insider's an insider. If you're not in, you won't get it.
