(no subject)

I need to update more often. Llanowar works his butt off and can't chat as often as we used to. I thought I let him know what happens in my life.

Browsed through the new Edinburgh/ Glasgow guide some more. I discovered several places I want to see rather desperately. Peebles sounds very nice indeed. Located in the Borders, it has a rich Jacobite past. Wheee! I wrote about them in an essay, so seeing Traquair House would be nice. The only problem is, it is about one hour from Edinburgh where we will stay for only three days... so going on an excursion isn't really an option. We'll see.
Llanowar, did you realise that we will be in Edinburgh during the International Festival?

I just realised what a lucky girl I am.

I got another parcel from amazon today. Llanowar, you'll be getting some "blackmail" soon. Heh.

I've got a new job!!! I work for newleaf now, so fear me! Actually I work for newleaf for quite some time now, but now I'm getting paid! Woot!

Reading and Writing

Went to the post office today. Forgot the envelop for lupippin.. Sorry, dear. *hangs head in shame*
But with the help of my beloved hubby, who retrieved sminky's adress (duh), everything else is on it's way. Some of my huge "to be posted pile" goes to Surrey, some to Finland, and one envelop travels to Frankfurt, Germany.

Phew.

I went to a reading today. Michael Hulse was reading poetry from his latest book and some poems that will be published in the next. It was a very moving evening... On my way home I had one poem written on a napkin, two other poems in the little notebook and several bits and pieces swimming in my head, which really is as good as it gets, inspirational-speaking.

See, Ian, I'm writing and writing and writing. Somebody tell me to stop. (Or rather not...)
