Wow, what a wonderful day!

That was the best Friday the 13th ever!
First I went shopping, finding exactly the sweater I was looking for (and believe me, it took me over 2 years to find it. Fucker hided somewhere, I swear.) Then my dear mother announced she'd buy it for me as an early Christmas present. (Yay!) It's freezing cold right now, and she could not see me suffer any longer. Now I have a Doogan knitted sweater which will keep me warm even in the harshest of weathers.

I even got some more pressies for friends. My Christmas shopping is nearly done. Go me!

I came home rather early, and had time to clean up my apartment. In the afternoon a huge parcel arrived. It was loaded with goodies! *huggles Valentine* You told me you'd send me a parcel, but I was expecting articles. But CDs! A calender! ( I know I told you to get me one, but I totally forgot!!!) The Matrix Revisited! Bookmarks! A novel! Wow. *dances happily* I like the prints! No wait, I love them! And the novel you sent along is really tempting. Must. find. time. to. read. it. Lovely bookmark! Are you sure that's all for me?

The office Xmas party was so much fun. It was much better than last year, and therefore mucho enjoyed. We even played stupid games, (e.g. Going to Jerusalem - ack!) but nobody chickened out. We had a great time, and everybody laughed their asses off. Unlike last year we were only about 20 people, that's half of the staff. But I enjoyed being in a smaller group.
Every year we have a tombola and this time I got the price I really wished for: a gift coupon for a local bookshop. I think I wait until after Christmas before I use it. *mwah*

So, yeah, perfect day. (Plus, I dreamt of Viggo the night before.)

I'm off to bed now, getting as much sleep as I want.
