Mar. 6th, 2004 02:32 amWinter Morning
Las Vegas started as
a ranch in the desert
that's how it began
Refusing to fade
The sunlight never
looked brighter to me
I sip my tea
Refusing to fade
Suddenly I want
a horse
a ranch
a city to start.
Las Vegas started as
a ranch in the desert
that's how it began
Refusing to fade
The sunlight never
looked brighter to me
I sip my tea
Refusing to fade
Suddenly I want
a horse
a ranch
a city to start.

Date: 2004-03-07 07:51 am (UTC)your poem has a nice rhythm and it's floating like the wind over the desert.
But it seams unfinished to me.
Perhaps that is the reason why I don't get a hang to it.
*hugs*
please keep writing and let your creativity take over :D

To me, it is fine the way it is. Sometimes that's what I want. Start a city. Sometimes I wish I was born a hundred years ago, like in that Garth Brooks' song.
