Had a minor freak out about things (read as: my life) today, so I did one of the things that make me feel better: making apple butter. It used to be baking, but I still don't have an oven. I currently have five cups of apple puree waiting to be cooked into butter. I can't wait for this new batch! But it will be a bit until it's ready to be poured into glasses: it takes at least two hours to cook until it is thick enough.

Which is why I'm now sitting in the kitchen, playing with the internet and stirring the remains of 4 lbs of lovely apples.
