Heee! *purrs* You can ask me as many questions as you like. Teehee.
Okay, I've been writing stories since I could write basically, but all was lost when I chose English in 11th grade. That was like a revelation- I fell in love with the language, and English and American literature. I discovered authors I loved, and just knew I wanted to write in English.
I started writing fanfic in 1996, I think. But I didn't know what it was called back then. I wrote missing scenes for my favorite TV series, stuff like that. When I started uni, I got internet access, and discovered fanfic and slash. Whee!
I started to write more seriously a few years ago. Okay, about 6 years ago (I'm getting old ;). I joined Creative Writing classes, and got my first story published two years ago, I think. Time's running so fast right now... maybe it was only one and a half year ago. Dunno.
So yeah. I think the quality of my writings (not necessarily fandom writings though *blushes*) has improved a lot. This year I won the Daniil Pashkoff Prize for Short Story written by a non native speaker. Long title, but a nice second prize. :D
Same with poetry. I started writing both during my studies. So yay for my uni and my favorite prof, who encourages Creative Writing so much.
And I love love love your icon. I should write another N/G... Now that I have talked about writing, I feel like it :D
