Toronto and Tartans (not related in any way)

I was wearing my Black Stewart (that's a tartan btw) to university today. Ian, one of my teachers stopped, looked at my tartan and said: "What's your tartan, then?"

I could have gone through the trouble of explaining him that it's not actually MY tartan, but I just told him that's the Black Stewart. He nodded and mumbled something about the green, blue and yellow structure you can find in the Royal Stewart too.

I was impressed. This man surely knows stuff. Tons of stuff. All kinds of stuff. Including tartans.
