I really love Self-Portrait, for some reason. No, actually, I know the exact reason: Because I make fucked up collages like that in Photoshop sometimes, and I love to look at all the little bits of it and wonder what they signify, what they're there for, or if they were just handy. So I love that element of not fully understandable, ever. And also, I love the colouring in it. There's a smudge of yellow just below the lips, and I found it absolutely captivating. Stared at it for ten minutes, must've.

Actually, I love both the paintings. (Who'm I kidding? I love all of it, really.) In Received Pronunciation, I love love the photo of the trees and the subtle extension of roots below. Can't articulate why, but there you go.

I can't really say much about the photos, because I'm still a little stunned by them. Just . . .Guh.
